“Aarcana is my favorite restaurant in Rishikesh as a foreigner, hands down. This spot feels like it belongs in Tulum or Europe. The ambiance is very peaceful, the portions are generous, and the quality of the food and beverages is superior. The service is excellent and the staff and owners are wonderful! It’s very beautifully landscaped, the bookstore is very quaint, and you can hear the sound of the waterfall while you hang out in the cafe. Highly recommend this spot if you’re open to hiking to the top of Secret Waterfall Rd! It’s well worth it! The breakfast options and dinner options are all equally delicious. It has been the highlight of my trip! Bonus: the cafe is dog-friendly. We’re traveling India with our dog who was raised in the US who has been grieving the loss of parks and open green areas to play. The Aarcana lawn has been beyond wonderful for her to be able to play and exercise without getting harassed by the local dogs!”
“I go here everyday! The best food (in terms of taste, freshness, and presentation) that I’ve found out of my 2 weeks in Rishikesh. Especially for the price. I also love it here because it’s chill vibes. A great place for conversations with friends or to read a book. Breakfast/lunch/dinner are all 🔥🔥🔥 They even have complimentary detox water. If you haven’t been to Aarcana yet, I implore you to go.”
“This place very special to me🤗 During my TTT course, I spent countless hours here reading, chatting, studying, and practicing yoga. From our morning chai to late dinners, it truly became our second home ❤️ The atmosphere and music are absolutely perfect, creating such a warm and peaceful vibe. There’s a great variety of drinks and food. the drinks were amazing, though the food could be improved a little. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with a big smile. Loved the little book library where you can grab a book and enjoy reading while spending time there. Also attended a beautiful cacao n dance ceremony n hosted in the cafe garden🍀”
“This is a wonderful aesthetic cafe in Tapovan, I used to visit it almost daily on my 10 day trip to Rishikesh. The place is really peaceful, has good vibes & amazing views. The food is good as well. Although the service staff can be trained better to be polite with the customers. I faced a little issue with them. I mentioned this to the owner & he took the feedback very nicely.”
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Aloo Puri, Mexican Breakfast & Banana chocolate pancake The over-easy eggs are overcooked…so wouldn’t recommend Turkish eggs, omelette is much better! Loved the Indian foods/sandwiches/bowls. Such a beautiful place to chill☕️🌿☀️”
